Chamber Ambassadors


The Ambassadors are made up of a group of Junior and Seniors from our community.  These students volunteer their time and energy at Chamber functions while serving as an Ambassador.  Two Senior Ambassadors who have shown great leadership and service towards our Community are awarded  $500 scholarships at the end of the year.



2021-2022 Chamber Ambassadors:

Durand Evans

I'm 17 years old and am a senior at Thomasville High School. I'm a member of the Thomasville basketball team where i lead my team at point guard. Some of my hobbies are working on my game for basketball, hanging out with frineds, mud riding, and playing video games. I am also a member of the Upward Bound organization. After high school, I plan on continuing my basketball career at a junior college then transferring to a Division I college!

Morgan Blackmon

Hello, I am Morgan Blackmon. I am 16 years old and a junior at Thomasville High School. I am involved in several organizations such as: NHS, Mu Alpha Theta, FBLA and SGA. I am also a peer helper and on the THS majorette team. In my free time when I am not twirling my baton, I like to hang out with my friends and try to help around my community.

Manju Acharya

My name is Manju Acharya and I am 17 years old. I am a senior at Clarke Prep and have been going there since I was 5 years old. My hobbies include hanging out with friends and playing volleyball. I also enjoy traveling. I have been playing school volleyball for the past 3 years. I also play for a club team in Meridian, Mississippi. After college I plan to pursue a career in pharmacy.

Dakota Kinman

I am 17 years old and a senior at Clarke Prep. I have been going to Clarke Prep since I was 3 years old. I have played volleyball since 7th grade for the Lady Gators. My hobbies consist of spending time with my friends and traveling. I plan to graduate high school and attend Shouthern Union community College in Wadley, Alabama then transfer to Auburn University.

Luke Stephens

My names is Luke Stephens and I am 17 years old. I am involved in several clubs such as MuAlpha Theta, National Honor Society, Student Government Association and 4-H. 4-H takes up a lot of my time and I am a state 4-H Ambassador. In my free time, I listen to music, frequent my chicken yard and garden. I also collect rare Aroids, which are tropical plants.

Karis Collins

Hi, my name is Karis Collins and I am so glad to be able to serve as an ambassador for Thomasville. I am a senior at THS and serve in many leadership positions. I am the class Vice President, President of the Student Government Association, President of NHS and President of MuAlpha Theta. Also, I am a co-captain for the cheerleading squad at Thomasville. Cheer is where I prefer to spend most of my time. I hope to be able to continue to cheer in my future college. I plan to attend college and study the field of nursing.

Emily Walters

Hello, my names is Emily Walters. I am a senior at Thomasville High School and iI am involved in numerous clubs and organizations. I am President of National Technical Honor Society, VP of Mu Alpha Theta, SGA senior representative and senior class cabient member. I get to support my fellow classmates through being a Diamond doll and varsity cheer captain. This year I have been interning at TES and I loved being a teachers aide. I plan on majoring in elementary education when I go to college.

Katherine Ledkins

My name is Katherin Ledkins . I am sixteen years old. I am a junior at Thomsville High School where I participate in Mu Alpha Theata, SGA, NHS and varsity cheerleading. Additionally, I am an active member of Thomaville United Methodist church. In my spare time I enjoy riding horses and walking outdoors with my friends.

Taylor Robinson

Hey! My name is Taylor Robinson, and I am a senior at Thomasville High School. Some things I am involved in at my school are: varsity football, varsity wrestling, and varsity golf. I am also the THS delegate for Alabama's Boys's State, 2022 Senior Class Treasurer, a Leo club member and now one of the Thomasville Alabama Chamber Ambassadors. In my free time, I Enjoy hanging out with my friends and family and going hunting. My plan for the future is to continue my wrestlng career, if I am able, while studying either business or ministry.

Abigail Coopwood

Hey, my name is Abigail Coopwood. I am currently a senior at Thomasville High School where I'm very involved. I love cheering on our Tigers as the co-captain of the Varsity cheer squad and a Diamond Doll.  I am currently serving as the 2022 class President, Vice President of Mu Alpha Theta, Vice President of National Thecnical Honor Society, secretary of National Honor Society and a THS peer Helper. In my free time, I enjoy painting and traveling to new places. I plan to attend Auburn University and major in Engineering.

Marli Davis

I'm Marli Davis! I am 17 and a junior at Thomasville High School. I'm a varsity cheerleader and a golf team member. Also, I'm a diamond doll for the baseball team. Some of my hobbies out of school include hunting, shopping, fishing, or camping. At THS U'm in Mu Alpha Theta, yearbook staff, NHS and TRIO I currently work at TGRC as a golf clerk! I look forward to serving as a chamber ambassador this year!

Alaina Bohannon

My name is Alaina Bohannon I am 16 years old. I am a varsity cheerleader. I am a junior at Thomasville High School. I am a member of NHS, Mu Alpha Theta, ETS, and yearbook. In my spare time I enjoy painting and baking.
